The Berlin Walls: Street Art Walks in Berlin

When arriving in Berlin in 2018, we were amazed by how street art covered everything—walls, bridges and cars. From the big murals to the small stickers, we explored our first neighborhood through the urban art lens. A 50-page street art walking guide was born of it less than a year later.

Most of our lives, we've walked in cities without really paying attention to the surrounding streets. It all changed in 2015 on a rare sunny day in London. A street art passionate opened our eyes to the treasures and stories you could find on walls, lamp posts, fire hydrants, garbage cans—in the form of gigantic murals or tiny stickers.

Our experience of walking fundamentally changed that day. It became a constant exploration, rather than just about getting from point A to point B.

In turn, we hope that The Berlin Walls will inspire a few others to see the city we love from a new perspective.
